i doubt its torque steer lets face it our cars arn't that powerfull. I would suspect your strutrod bushings would have something to do with it, there is a rod that connects the lower controll arm to the subframe, and when the bushings wear out they allow the wheel to move forward slightly under throttle and backward under braking. the only way i know to check these are to grab teh top of the tire and push forward really hard as if you were trying to roll the car and then pull back, or to have a friend watch teh tire and just inch the car and hit the brake to see if the whel is moving separate from the car.
